Multi-drop HGV Driver
We don’t have any need for a multi-drop HGV driver at present, however feel free to leave us your details and we will be in touch should a position arise. Our needs change frequently and we are expanding rapidly, so you can expect to hear from us!
Required Skillset
- HGV License Class 2
- Experience in multi-drop delivery environment
Desirable Skillset
- HGV License Class 1
- Two years HGV experience
- ADR Certification
- Counter-balance forklift truck license
- Multi-drop delivery experience in SY/LD areas
Job Description
Work starts at approximately 0700am in the morning. Working under the direction of the Operations Manager or Yard Supervisor, you will check your vehicle, assist in loading of your vehicle and routing of your freight. You are responsible for ensuring that your paperwork is correct and freight is loaded safely.
Our HGV drivers have a busy day with a varying number of deliveries and collections, but you are required to adhere to all EU goods vehicle legislation.
On returning to the yard, you are required to assist in unloading of your vehicle and a safety check. You will then fully debrief with the transport office. Once all your daily paperwork is in order, your day is complete.
